Host a fundraiser!
One of the best ways to support WHEF is to host your own house party.
Hosting a house party will:
give you a chance to tell your friends and family why abortion access is an important issue to you
let people know about WHEF
increase awareness of reproductive health care issues in RI
directly raise funds for WHEF
have a good time with like-minded folks
connect WHEF with new volunteers like yourself!
Hosting a house party is simple- all you need to do is invite guests, welcome them and make a pitch for WHEF (or ask the Board to help with this part if you are not comfortable speaking), and finance the event- guacamole, hummus, whatever you fancy!
If you don't want to host a house party, there are other options! We are happy to support your house party, happy hour, Twitter fundraiser or any other benefit event; if WHEF board members and volunteers are available to come and speak at your event, we will be there. Whether you collect $20 in lieu of birthday gifts or raise $2,000 at a giant yard sale or dinner party—every event helps.
